Heating Instructions
- All of our foods are delivered fully cooked and ready-to-eat - just heat and serve.
- Heating times below are for fresh/thawed products. To thaw frozen products, remove from packaging and place in cooler overnight.
- Heating temperature of equipment varies please check the temperature at the center of product to ensure it reaches a minimum temperature of 165F / 74C.
Lasagna and Shepherd's Pie
Cut lasagna and shepherd's pie in 12 portions. Transfer portion onto a plate, cover, microwave each portion for approx. 4-5 min.
Quiche
Cut quiche into 10 portions. Heat each portion in microwave for 2 min.
To reheat a whole quiche, cut into portions then bake in the oven for approx. 30 min at 350F/176C.
Individual Savory Products
- Salmon, Spinach and Cheese Filo: microwave for approx. 2 min.
- Spinach and Cheese Filo: microwave for approx. 2 min.
- Spinach and Cheese Calzone: microwave for approx. 2 min.
- Meat Calzone: microwave for approx. 2 min.
- Tuna Pie: transfer from aluminum to a plate, microwave for approx. 3.5 min.
- Chicken Bake: thaw, microwave for approx. 3 min.
Wraps
Best way to heat our wraps is to remove plastic wrap, cut it in half, and microwave.
- Vegan, Teriyaki and Seafood: microwave single wrap for approx. 2.5 min.
- Thai Chicken: microwave single wrap for approx. 1 min.
- Breakfast and South Western Egg: microwave single wrap for approx. 1.5 min.
- Protein Power: thaw, remove label, leave in paper, then microwave for approx. 1.5 min.
Soups
Thaw soups by placing in cooler overnight.
To heat: combine 2 parts soup and 1 part of water, bring it to boil. All hot/heated soups should be held at 180 F.
Optional heating instructions for cream-based soups, such as Tomato Dill: you may add cream and/or condensed milk and water.
